Our Seafood Journey

The Clamming Lemon is a family-owned and operated food trailer founded in 2025 with a love for fresh seafood, local flavor, and bringing people together.

Clamming runs deep in our family. My father was a Long Island clammer in the 1970s, and that connection to the water has been passed down through generations. It is more than part of our history—it is in our blood. Today, we are proud to carry on that tradition by preparing food inspired by our family’s coastal roots, including dishes made with fresh clams from the Long Island Sound.

We take great pride in sourcing locally whenever possible and supporting the businesses and people within our community. To us, good food is about more than what is on the plate. It is about sharing traditions, creating memories, and making people feel welcome.

The Clamming Lemon was truly built from the ground up. Rob designed and constructed our trailer from scratch, dedicating countless hours of hard work, creativity, and attention to every detail. The result is a one-of-a-kind food trailer thoughtfully designed around our menu, our needs, and our vision.

We genuinely enjoy being part of community festivals, private celebrations, breweries, farms, and local events. We love meeting new people, seeing familiar faces, sharing a few laughs, and serving food that makes people happy.
